Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Internal Engineering and Process teams to assess and deliver to the requirements related to OS deployments in factory
Develop scripts for OS/Patch deployment using the Factory deployment framework. Setup the test bed as per the test plan and validate the deployment scripts as per the Test Strategy
Characterize, contain and perform Root Cause Analysis of the defects related to OS deployments. Provide adequate technical details to the internal and external teams to substantiate the findings and drive issue resolution
Automate the repetitive tasks wherever applicable using relevant development tools
Build rapport with the vendors and the internal teams at Dell. Work in coordination with the teams to achieve engineering objectives

Candidate Profile:
Very good in Computer Architecture, with good exposure to Hardware, BIOS, UEFI, Firmware and OS layers
Good in-depth understanding of OS Boot process and deployment technologies
Good exposure to automation and scripting
Good in-depth understanding of OS Boot process and deployment technologies
Good exposure to automation and scripting
Good exposure to scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, and BASH
Exposure to Intel/AMD CISC architecture will be a plus
Good analytical skills to trouble shoot technical issues
Written and verbal communication skills.
