Educational Qualifications:
Fitter: Candidates must possess Matric/ SSLC plus National Trade Certificate (NTC) plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in trade of Fitter or Sheet Metal Worker.
Welder: Candidates must possess Matric/ SSLC plus National Trade Certificate (NTC) plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in trade of Welder.
Emoluments and Pay Scale:
The selected candidates will initially work as Temporary Employees (Artisans) for a period of one year. During the period of one year they will be paid a consolidated wage of ₨11,000/- p.m.
On successful completion of this period, they will be absorbed in the regular establishment as ARTISAN GRADE-IV and placed at the minimum of the scale of pay of ₨11700-23000/-
Selection Process:
All eligible candidates shall be invited for an objective type Written Test to be conducted at Tiruchirappalli. The Question paper will be tri-lingual in English / Tamil / Hindi languages.
Application Fee:
A Non-refundable processing fee of ₨125/-is payable by the General / OBCcandidates. The fees pay through triplicate challan format. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, Physically Challenged and Ex-Servicemenare exempted from paying the processing fee.
